A former WWE Tag Team Champion has discussed the time The Undertaker decided to take his motorbike for a spin with disastrous results.
When The Undertaker returned to WWE in the spring of 2000, he had removed the black cloak and Deadman persona that had defined him since his debut in the company and emerged as the motorbike-riding American Badass.
Often said to be a closer representation of who The Undertaker was as a person, the WWE Hall of Famer burned rubber on his way to the ring and clearly had a love of bikes.
One of The Undertaker’s minions in his Ministry of Darkness has now told the story of how The Undertaker took his bike for a spin, but only managed to wreck it hours before it was going to be sold.
Mideon recently spoke on WWE’s Table For 3 where he was reunited with The Undertaker, Henry Godwinn, Rikishi, and The Godfather and explained how The Phenom destroyed the vintage bike:
“So we get it back up on the asphalt, he takes off again. It goes in a gradual circle. He’s off about 100 yards off me and he goes off again… So the back wheel hits the asphalt and the front wheel just jerks to the right. He goes ass over the tea kettle over the ape hangers. He takes the most perfect backdrop you have ever seen.”
“He lands over the asphalt and bounces back on his feet and goes ‘I’m okay’ but the bike, it’s going on eBay 4’O clock that afternoon… The right side of the gas tank is completely caved in… So I’m looking at the bike and looking at all the damage and I finally look up at him and make eye contact with him and he goes ‘I’ll go pack my bags.'”
