WWE Legend Ted DiBiase Has Nasty Fall At Airport; Suffers Black Eye And Other Injuries

WWE Legend Ted DiBiase injured

WWE legend Ted DiBiase recently had a bad fall at the airport, getting some bruises and a black eye.

Ted DiBiase, famous among wrestling fans as the Million Dollar Man, is a WWE Hall of Famer and a bona fide legend. The 71-year-old first made his entry into pro wrestling in 1974 and enjoyed a decent career in the industry. He won the WWF Heavyweight Championship once, but the reign is unrecognized. He has also performed for NWA Tri-State, NWA Western States, All Japan Pro Wrestling, and WCW, among a plethora of other promotions.

Despite barely being active on the wrestling scene nowadays, he does make some sporadic appearances here and there, such as during WWE RAW’s 30th anniversary episode in 2024.

The legend had a disastrous fall recently as he talked about it on his podcast.

WWE Hall Of Famer Ted DiBiase Suffered A Brutal Fall At The Airport

Speaking on the Everybody’s Got A Pod podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that there were some kids who were running about at the airport, and one of them fell right in front of him, leading to him also taking a face bump. As a result, he had a black eye.

There were some kids there, and they were playing around, and they were just kids being kids. One of them, like, fell right in front of me, and I had no choice. I was hustling… I did a face bump. I mean, I went down. I went down hard, buddy. I had a, I don’t know if you can see it, a black eye. The rest of it is, it was, it’s my right side.”

He also recalled how he had a broken rib earlier, and this fall felt the same, only that it was a bad bruising and not a broken rib, thankfully.

I have had a broken rib before. And if you have a broken rib, you can’t breathe. And even now, even though there’s nothing broken, I’ve got a really good bruise, but it’s so sore. You talk about the embarrassment, right?” he joked. The Million Dollar Man, you know, takes a big bump in the Atlanta airport.” [H/T Ringside News]
