A major WWE tag team has been changed from heel to babyface on the company’s internal roster.
The War Raiders, Ivar and Erik, have been listed as babyfaces on WWE’s internal roster according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the duo has embraced their new role after returning to programming in October. Once known as the Viking Raiders, Ivar and Erik reverted to their original War Raiders name upon their comeback. This change coincided with a fresh push for the team, who had been sidelined due to injuries.
Since their return, they have been featured prominently in the tag team division, pursuing the World Tag Team Championships currently held by Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of Judgment Day. In a contrasting development, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of the New Day have turned heel for the first time since 2015. Their internal roster listing now reflects this change following a shocking betrayal of their longtime ally, Big E, during the group’s 10-year anniversary celebration.
