WWE tables now feature this famous brand’s logo.
Several years ago, in 1993, WWE expanded its reach in the market when it allowed one of its top stars, Randy Savage, to form a partnership with the meat snack company ‘Slim Jim’. After which, almost three decades later, the snack company again formed a partnership with LA Knight and Bianca Belair ahead of SummerSlam 2023.
Owing to LA Knight’s popularity, he became an ideal face for the brand, and even drove the iconic Slim Jim car and won the 2023 Slim Jim Battle Royale. Now, almost two years later, their partnership is set to grow more. As announced on Monday in a press release, they are now set to introduce a “first-of-its-kind integration” that will feature Slim Jim branding on all folding tables used across tentpole programming, including “Raw,” “SmackDown,” “NXT”, and PLEs.
The press release reads:
“This branded table placement will create unforgettable moments when WWE Superstars “Snap into a Slim Jim Table” during matches. The partnership will continue to include custom commercial spots featuring WWE Superstars, curated social media campaigns, and Superstar appearances at select Slim Jim events.”
“Over the past two years, WWE and Slim Jim have renewed one of the most memorable collaborations in sports entertainment history and we will expand on that momentum as the partnership continues in the coming years,” said Grant Norris-Jones, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Partnerships, TKO.
“We are thrilled to extend our successful partnership with WWE, which has brought immense excitement and engagement to our fans,” said Ashley Spade, VP & General Manager of Snacks at Conagra Brands. “Extending our partnership during Monday Night Raw will give us even more opportunities to create unique and memorable experiences that tap into the rich history and energy of both Slim Jim and WWE.”
Since Vince McMahon’s exit from the promotion, the wrestling promotion has actively integrated branding and ads into its daily broadcasting schedules. While previously prevalent only during PLEs, the ring mat ads are now a common visual during weekly shows as well.
WWE And Logan Paul’s Energy Drink ‘Prime’ Struck A Record-Breaking Deal Last Year
Last year ahead of WrestleMania 40, WWE announced its first-ever partnership to feature on its ring mat in collaboration with Logan Paul’s energy drink ‘Prime’. In a press release issued last year, it was announced that PRIME became the promotion’s “Official Hydration Drink Partner” – the same relationship the brand holds with UFC through their partnership that began back in January 2023.
