WWE Superstars React To Will Smith’s Oscars Attack On Chris Rock
Several WWE Superstars past and present have reacted following Will Smith’s shocking on-stage slap to awards host Chris Rock after a joke about Smith’s wife.
Hollywood’s showpiece awards event descended into something more closely resembling a wrestling storyline following the altercation between Smith and Rock. Chris Rock took to the stage to present the award for Best Documentary Feature but made a jibe about Jada Pinkett-Smith’s baldness as a result of alopecia.
Will Smith might not have to cuss in his songs to sell records but he proved he wasn’t above throwing hands as he took to the stage before delivering a mighty slap to Rock’s face. As he returned to his seat, Smith told Rock in no uncertain terms twice to “keep my wife’s name outta your f*cking mouth.”
With the Oscars ceremony quickly turning into a wild, wild mess and more like an episode of Monday Night Raw, several stars of the wrestling world were quick to react to the drama on social media.

WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley also weighed in on the events, taking issue with Will Smith’s comments about himself later in the night as he picked up the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Venus and Serena Williams’ father in King Richard where Smith said: “I want to be a vessel for love.”
If it was @TheRock instead of @chrisrock making the same #GIJane reference, there’s no slap.
The vessel of a love is a bully.
