The recent WWE SuperShow live event included a title match and a surprising six-man tag team bout featuring The Samoan Werewolf.
WWE held its first U.S. house show of the year at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, on July 19. This marked the promotion’s first non-televised event in the United States since the final week of 2024.
The card featured eight matches, including World Heavyweight Champion Gunther defending his title against Penta. In women’s tag team action, Rhea Ripley joined forces with IYO SKY to face the WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi alongside Nia Jax.
Meanwhile, Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Joe Gacy of The Wyatt Sicks battled the teams of Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) and the Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) in an 8-man tag team match.
And the main event of the evening saw a surprising alliance, as Jacob Fatu teamed up with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton to take on the MFT (Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, and Tonga Loa) in a six-man tag team match.
