We have all the news and results from the WWE SuperShow live event from Mexico City.
WWE had kick-started its live show schedule earlier this month. The latest edition of their SuperShow emanated from the Arena Monterrey, Mexico, on July 27.
The night began with a 10-bell salute in memory of the late Hulk Hogan, who passed away on July 24. The ring announcer for the event was announced to be the legendary Lilian Garcia. WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, who has been away from television programming since April, also made an appearance at the event and received a great pop from the Mexican crowd.
The card featured a total of 9 matches, including a triple threat for the WWE Intercontinental Championship between Dominik Mysterio, El Grande Americano, and R Truth. A bout for the World Heavyweight Championship between Gunther and Penta also took place at the show.
The crowd also saw the trio of Mr. Iguana, Pagano, and Psycho Clown take on Legado del Fantasma, where, before the start of the bout, the WWE trio grabbed Mr. Iguana’s stuffed pet iguana, La Yezca, out of his hands and attacked it, which got them a lot of heat from the crowd.

El Grande Americano got a great response from the crowd as he got them singing along with him. The masked character has been gaining popularity in Mexico and is scheduled to be a part of a Fatal 4-Way Match for the AAA Mega Championship at TripleMania XXXIII on August 16.
However, it seems that El Grande Americano was not a favourite of Pagano, Mr. Iguana, Psycho Clown, and Rey Mysterio, who showed their dislike by viciously “attacking” a piñata of him backstage, while he watched from afar.

The other matches included Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez putting their titles on the line against Michin and B-Fab. Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton also defended her title in a Street Fight against Nia Jax. Meanwhile, Andrade and Rey Fenix teamed up against The Creed Brothers of American Made.
Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, and Tonga Loa also faced the trio of Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Uso, and Jacob Fatu in a Six-Man Tag Team Match, which headlined the SuperShow.
