WWE Star Wants Ricochet To Induct Them Into The Hall of Fame

Ricochet

Ricochet has been such an important part of a top tag team’s career that one member wants him to induct them into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The Viking Raiders have been tagging together all over the world for almost a decade. The pair first teamed up in Ring of Honor in 2014 under the name ‘War Machine’ and went on to win Tag Team Championships in multiple promotions including ROH and NJPW.

They signed with WWE in 2018 and debuted on NXT as the “War Raiders” and became a dominant force in the black and gold brand, eventually defeating The Undisputed Era’s Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong for the Tag Titles.

They were called up to the main roster as part of Raw in 2019, first as “The Viking Experience”, before settling on their current name. There, they captured the Raw Tag Team Championships and had feuds with the likes of The New Day, The Street Profits, and The Hurt Business.

In 2021, they were drafted to SmackDown but didn’t see a huge amount of success. In recent months, with the addition of Valhalla to the group, they have regained their momentum and scored wins over The Brawling Brutes and Legado del Fantasma.

Most recently they have been involved in a feud with Braun Strowman and Ricochet, suffering a loss to the pair on the latest edition of the blue brand.

Erik Wants Ricochet to induct The Viking Raiders into the WWE Hall of Fame

During a recent interview with Sportskeeda, the team was asked who should induct them into the Hall of Fame. Erik said for him it would have to be Ricochet as the star has been part of their careers since the beginning.

“So, for me, on a personal level, and I’m assuming we are going as a tag team, I would actually want Ricochet to induct us because Ricochet has been someone who’s been with us on this whole journey, in way before WWE, in Mexico, England, Japan, and since when Ivar and I were becoming a tag team and bursting on to the world stage.”

Not only that, the One and Only also arrived in NXT and then the main roster at the same time as the duo.

“And he’s been here; we came to NXT together; we came to the main roster together. We have been in such pivotal moments in each other’s careers that I think it would be fitting if we are going into the Hall of Fame; he’s the one who gives the speech.”
