WWE Superstar Tiffany Stratton has spoken about the recent controversy surrounding a video she posted online.
The former NXT Women’s Champion found herself at the end of social media backlash when she reposted a video of her striking Jade Cargill accompanied by audio featuring a racial slur. The post was quickly deleted by Tiffany Stratton and any speculation that she was in trouble with management was squashed.
At the WWE Money in the Bank media day, Stratton was asked about the video and revealed that she didn’t listen to the audio before reposting it and removed it as soon as she heard it. Speaking to Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez the rising star said:
“It was an honest mistake. I didn’t hear the audio. I had it up for maybe 20 seconds and I deleted it instantly as soon as I heard the audio. It was an honest mistake,” h/t Fightful
Any lingering thoughts that she was in trouble with management were firmly ended when Tiffany Stratton won the 2024 Money in the Bank Ladder match, earning a shot at either the WWE Women’s Championship or Women’s World Title at a time of her choosing.
TIFFANY STRATTON HAS SIGNED WITH MAJOR TALENT AGENCY
Tiffany Stratton has taken a big step in her career by signing with Paradigm Talent Agency. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stratton’s deal for “representation “in all areas,” hinting at ambitions beyond professional wrestling.
This move aligns perfectly with Stratton’s Hollywood aspirations. The 25-year-old wrestler has openly spoken about her desire to break into acting by the age of 30 and the agency seems to share Stratton’s vision.
The report also suggests that the agency sees her becoming a bigger star when Monday Night Raw heads to Netflix in 2025.
Earlier this year, the company and Netflix struck a multi-billion dollar deal that will bring Raw, to the streaming giant in January next year. Aside from the big money it is historic for the show as it leaves traditional cable television for the first time in its 31-year history.
