Throughout his time in WWE, Maximum Male Models’ ma.çé has faced a number of stops and starts. After signing with the sports entertainment giant in 2016, he was given the name Dio Madden and began as a commentator on 205 Live before joining the Raw commentary team.
However, in 2019, he was sent back to the Performance Center to train, being written off Raw following an attack from Brock Lesnar.
The next time fans saw the star, he was renamed to Mace and re-debuted on Raw in 2020 as part of the Retribution stable that also included T-Bar (now known as Dijak), Slapjack (Shane Thorne), Retaliation (Mercedes Martinez), and Reckoning (Mia Yim). Mustafa Ali was revealed to be the group’s leader shortly after their debut, but after months of numerous losses and changes to the group, Mace and T-Bar attacked Ali, severing ties. Mace remained in a partnership with T-Bar until they were split up in the 2021 edition of the WWE Draft.
More change would come for the former football player in April of 2022 when he was announced as the first recruit of Max Dupri (LA Knight) during a dark segment of a SmackDown taping. The next July, Max Dupri officially revealed his Maximum Male Models to the world, renaming the star to ma.çé alongside fellow model mån.sôör (formerly known as Mansoor).
Maximum Male Models have also undergone a number of changes since their debut, now under the leadership of Max’s storyline cousin Maxxine Dupri as LA Knight has reclaimed his former identity.
Though the trio has found favor with a certain segment of fans for their comedic skits and over-the-top antics, others deride the group for being too silly. When one fan on social media expressed hope that ma.çé would be able to drop his current gimmick soon, the star took to social media to make it clear that he loves his current role and has fun performing alongside mån.sôör.
“for my birthday, let’s stop complaining about my job for me. i’m quite content being silly with my best friend”

As Part Of Maximum Male Models, ma.çé Has Officially Been Moved To WWE Raw
On the January 30th episode of Raw, Maximum Male Models were shown backstage eyeing up Alpha Academy’s Otis. While mån.sôör and ma.çé were confused and disgusted by the former Mr. Money In The Bank, Maxxine said she thought he was “perfect”.
A report from Fightful Select confirmed that the trio had officially been moved to the red brand, and on the February 6th episode, they spoke to authority figure Adam Pearce backstage and signed a contract to make the move official on-screen before Chelsea Green came onto the scene to complain to Pearce.
As for the team’s former leader, LA Knight, he has not been seen since being defeated by Bray Wyatt in the Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match at the Royal Rumble. Wyatt, however, appeared on Smackdown and appeared to form an alliance with Uncle Howdy.
