Shayna Baszler will once again make another non-WWE appearance.
With fans previously conditioned to believe that contracted main roster stars would never appear for outside promotions albeit for extremely exceptional circumstances, Baszler was one of the first contracted stars to be announced for an independent show in 2024 as the former NXT Women’s Champion competed at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport X over WrestleMania weekend and defeated TNA star Masha Slamovich via referee stoppage at the event in Philadelphia.
The unique pro wrestling show recently made its debut in Japan and saw Barnett lose to AEW star Jon Moxley in the main event of the show in a bloody affair. With Bloodsport set to return to the United States in July, so too will Baszler.
As announced by Barnett on social media, The Queen of Spades will compete at the Brooklyn show with her opponent to be announced:
For her, the “debut” in Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport was not that but in fact her stepping into the ring she was forged from – the crucible that has made her a champion in MMA and Pro Wrestling. This July, she returns to her birthplace to once again reign in blood and glory. “The Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler returns to Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport

Other contracted WWE stars set for outside appearances later in the year include IYO SKY competing in a match for Marigold in Japan and AJ Styles competing in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Shayna Baszler Fires Back At Incorrect Criticism
Previously, one social media user made a bizarre comment directed at a number of wrestlers concerning their appearance. Rightfully putting the individual in their place, Shayna Baszler replied that they should “eat a bag of d*cks.”
As part of the latest announcement for Bloodsport, two more WWE stars have been confirmed.
