WWE Star Rey Mysterio & Bad Bunny Appear On Carpool Karaoke With James Corden [VIDEO]

Rey Mysterio, James Corden, and Bad Bunny

Rey Mysterio made a surprise appearance on an episode of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke which featured Bad Bunny.

Towards the end of the show, Bad Bunny spoke of his love of wrestling and appearances with WWE. He explained how the company approached him about having a role as a guest referee, but he wanted to get in the ring.

“WWE said, ‘This guy is a fan of us, so we should do something with him’. So they asked, ‘Do you wanna be a referee, do you wanna be at the side?’, and I said, ‘I wanna fight…I wanna be in the ring and I wanna fight.'”

The rapper got his wish when he teamed up with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37, on a day he says was “the best of his life”.

His comments made Corden want to try out wrestling himself and the pair got in the ring. After Bunny showed him some moves, he called Mysterio to the ring. Mysterio got him to show some aggression before the two had a match.

After Corden made his entrance in a lucha mask to the sounds of Cher’s Believe, the bout saw Mysterio kick Corden in the gut and perform a Sunset Flip for the pin.

Rey Mysterio will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

On the March 10th edition of SmackDown, Mysterio was announced as the first inductee in the Hall of Fame Class of 2023. He is reportedly set to be inducted by Konnan.

Mysterio began his career at just 14 years old before starring with ECW, WCW, and eventually WWE. He signed with the company in 2002 and quickly became a fan favourite. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest high-flyers in history, while he’s also credited with helping revolutionise cruiserweight wrestling in the United States.
