Liv Morgan’s upcoming movie project is rumoured to be for a major movie, but not one that has been heavily rumoured.
As seen in a backstage segment on the April 28th episode of WWE Raw, Morgan stated that she was taking time off to “film a big Hollywood movie”, which guest General Manager Nick Aldis stated that Morgan’s storyline departure has been approved.
As it is noted that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion will be part of a big movie, the online speculation was that Morgan could be a part of a future superhero movie as filming for Marvel is set to begin soon. However, while a new report has debunked this, Morgan’s role is still set to be a significant one.
As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Morgan will not be in a superhero movie, specifically ruling out Avengers: Doomsday, Morgan landing the role is said to be “one of the most impressive ‘gets’ imaginable.” In terms of the movie itself, the project has been compared to critically acclaimed movies Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Raid, and Anora, two of which were big winners at the Oscars.
It was also noted that the role “could cement” Morgan as one of the next breakout stars in Hollywood.
How Much Time Will Liv Morgan Miss?
With Morgan stating that she needed time away, fans are curious as to how much time the current Women’s Tag Team Champion will miss. It is also noted in the report that Paradigm Talent Agency, who represents Morgan, are working closely with the promotion to coordinate schedules to ensure that Morgan does not miss too many weeks of TV. It is also noted that Paradigm also represents CM Punk, who filmed his projects last year during the Drew McIntyre feud and was still able to appear for the major shows.
