WWE star Julius Creed now knows who he will be facing at the upcoming Bloodsport event.
As announced by Josh Barnett on social media, Creed will face off against former Bellator competitor Matt Makowski at Bloodsport XI in Brooklyn on July 28th:
Welcoming Julius Creed to Bloodsport will be none other than Bloodsport and Bellator MMA veteran, Matt Makowski. We all know of Creed’s tough as nails collegiate wrestling skills, but will he be able handle the strikes and submissions of Makowski? Only one way to solve this question at Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport XI…through the ritual of combat.
Makowski was Charlie Dempsey’s opponent over WrestleMania weekend and lost to Dempsey in the NXT star’s debut performance.
The event will be Creed’s debut performance at the unique event and will also see Brutus Creed compete. Brutus’ opponent is yet to be announced. As seen on Raw, The Creed Brothers recently aligned with Chad Gable in an attempt to fight off the Wyatt Sicks, who have been targeting Gable ever since their arrival.
Julius Creed Match Confirmed For Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport
Following on from Shayna Baszler’s Bloodsport debut over WrestleMania weekend which also featured Charlie Dempsey as an unannounced competitor, Barnett has secured more contracted WWE stars for the follow-up event in New York with the addition of The Creed Brothers along with Shayna Baszler and Charlie Dempsey’s return.
The updated line-up for the event is as follows:
