John Cena had a very eventful visit to Springfield as he guest-starred in the season 26 premiere of The Simpsons.

Bursting through the door to save the day, Cena declares that he is “The only licenced midwife to win 16 WWE Championships” to the delight of Comic Book Guy.

After announcing that his signature line of panini presses would be coming soon, Cena successfully helped to deliver the baby and cut the umbilical cord with a Klingon Bat’leth. In a nod to his pro wrestling career, Cena also gave his “You can’t see me” gesture to the newborn before making his exit.

Cena also briefly cameos close to the end of the episode as Bart attempts to celebrate his 11th birthday. Other notable names to appear in the season premiere included Conan O’Brien, Danny DeVito and Tom Hanks.

As a result of Cena’s appearance, Bret Hart is no longer the only wrestler to guest star in the show.
