During Bray Wyatt’s time as The Fiend ahead of his release in 2021, he joined forces with Alexa Bliss. The pair came together in the summer of 2020, with Bliss seemingly coming under his spell after Wyatt attacked her.
As the partnership began to get progressively darker, Bliss took over Wyatt’s feud with Randy Orton, facing The Viper at Fastlane in March 2021. During the unconventional bout, Bliss used her supernatural powers against Orton, before Wyatt reappeared to attack the former World Champion, handing her the win. This led to Bray Wyatt facing Orton at WrestleMania 37.
Alexa Bliss Gives Her Thoughts On Bray Wyatt
Speaking to BT Sport, Bliss gave her thoughts on working with Wyatt, and how he helped her improve as a performer.
“He all of these just ideas that, you know, some of them are way out there that you have to like, reel in,” Bliss said. “There’s all these things and he just has all these concepts and all these ideas that are just so good and it was just so fun to just able to like, sit down with him and just like, bounce ideas back and forth. But, because working with him, now I have almost like, unlocked a different side of my brain creatively — Because of him I was able to come up with the concept for Lily.”
Bliss went on to say that it was important that Wyatt came back to WWE, as he filled a character void.
“He’s such a key part of WWE and such a, you know, presence and character that it’s so great that he’s back,” Bliss said. “I feel like there was this character void and the fact that he’s back and just that creative, you need that creative energy around.”
A reunion between Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt has been teased on WWE television, but nothing concrete has brought them back together just yet. On the most episode of SmackDown, Wyatt appeared to continue to descent into madness by attacking a camera man.
