WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther publicly humiliated Penta by unmasking him.
Gunther, who is supposed to face CM Punk in a defense of his world heavyweight title at SummerSlam, was in action against Penta at a recent house show in Corpus Christi. The Ring General is known for being a dastardly heel on television and is one of the top stars in WWE at the moment. He recently retired Goldberg as her choked out the legend in the middle of the ring.
The WWE world heavyweight champion has once again humiliated another top star.
Gunther unmasked Penta and took home the win at the WWE event
During his match against El Zero Miedo, Gunther took a clever approach. The luchador is known for his high-flying action and is one of the most athletic, yet charismatic, stars on the roster.
Therefore, to neutralize the threat of Penta, the former Imperium leader used the one tactic that is the weakest spot for Penta. Since getting unmasked is a matter of great humiliation for luchadors, who refuse to show their face in public as an almost holy symbol, the world champion took the easy way out and simply unmasked Penta. The former AEW star was left helpless in the moment as he tried to protect his dignity and pride. The star immediately hid his face and laid down on the mat as Gunther rolled him up to pin him.

It simply goes to show that Gunther will not stop at anything to win against his opponents. He is not afraid of taking the underhanded route, and it serves as a warning for CM Punk ahead of their match at WWE SummerSlam.
