The winds of change continue to blow through WWE with a monster episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Just 24-hours before Survivor Series the show featured the return of Becky Lynch, a wild between The Bloodline and the Brawling Brutes, and a recently returned star was handed a new name.
On the November 11th episode of Friday Night SmackDown Sarah Logan returned to WWE television for the first time since making a surprise appearance at the 2022 Royal Rumble. Logan made her big comeback alongside The Viking Raiders.
Vignettes and promo packages had been featuring on SmackDown for a number of weeks hyping the group’s return, while Logan hasn’t featured regularly with WWE since being released back in April 2020.
WWE Star Sarah Logan Has A New Name
On the November 25th episode of the show The Viking Raiders took on Hit Row. As the trio made their way to the ring it was announced that Sarah Logan is now known as Valhalla. Michael Cole noted that this was the name that was “given to her by the God’s.”
In the ring the Viking Raiders made short work of their rivals, picking up the win in comfortably under five minutes.
The name change for Sarah Logan comes just days after WWE seemingly performed a U-turn after renaming Mia Yim. On Raw it was revealed that Yim would be known as Michin. However, just 24-hours later her official profile on WWE.com was changed back.
The show had opened with the WWE return of Becky Lynch who had been out of action for just shy of four months. It was announced that Lynch will be part of ‘Team Bianca Belair’ alongside Asuka, Alexa Bliss and Mia Yim when they take on Damage CTRL, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley inside WarGames.
