WWE Star Expected To Receive “Sustained Singles Push” In Early 2025

WWE Star Expected To Receive

Big things look to be in the works for one member of the WWE roster.

With just a few weeks left in 2024, fans are already looking ahead to the big events of the following year. With the hotly anticipated debut episode of Raw on Netflix, the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 41 all taking place in the first 4 months, many are expecting some major moments to occur soon.

While the likes of Cody Rhodes, Gunther and Roman Reigns are all expected to be featured prominently heading into WrestleMania season along with the year-long John Cena retirement, another member of the roster looks to be in line for a huge year.

As reported by WrestleVotes, Finn Balor looks set to be in line for a significant singles run soon:

As we approach the 10-year anniversary of Finn Balor in WWE, sources tell us he’s solidified himself as a true locker room leader over the past year or so. In addition, we are told to expect a sustained singles push for Finn as we head into 2025.

Balor currently reigns as one-half of the World Tag Team Champions alongside JD McDonagh. Back in 2016, Balor became the first-ever Universal Champion after defeating Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. Unfortunately, Balor was forced to relinquish the title due to injury the next night on Raw. Despite calls from the fans over the past 8 years, Balor has yet to win another World Championship.

WWE Champion Names Locker Room Leaders

As mentioned in the report, Balor has established himself as a leader of the Raw locker room. However, when discussing the subject in a recent interview, SmackDown star Cody Rhodes named his picks for WWE locker room leaders.
