A former WWE and IMPACT star has made it very clear that he will never be seen in the IMPACT Zone again.
Killer Kross and real-life wife Scarlett Bordeaux were heavily featured from the moment they walked into IMPACT in 2018. The pair left a year later with Kross in particular citing pay as a key issue at the time.
During a recent interview on The Wrassingh Show, Kross officially ruled out a return to IMPACT:
“Respectfully, neither of us will be returning. For the record, many of our friends work there, we are very happy for the success that they are finding. We’ve had many people in our corner for years that still work for that company. We have never ever been on record to say anything derogatory or negative about any company we’ve ever worked for. That’s beneath us.
There are a lot of people involved, with companies per se, and when you have a problem with one or two or three people, it’s not necessarily a systemic issue. We’re happy for everybody’s success and we don’t live in that place anymore. We are always moving forward. We leave it behind us and that’s really all I have to say about it.”
Kross’ comments echo similar sentiments from Bordeaux who confirmed she’d never go back to IMPACT during a March interview with Captain’s Corner.
In 2022, Kross and Bordeaux have moved on from a deeply disappointing run in WWE that came to an end last November. After a strong start on NXT, the then-Karrion Kross was surprisingly promoted to the main roster without ‘The Smoke Show’ by his side.
After a shock, four-minute loss to Jeff Hardy on Raw, Kross began to flounder, eventually being repackaged, although his new presentation was also widely criticised.
The two-time NXT Champion has been touring the indies this year, including returning to Major League Wrestling and setting up shop in the controversial Control Your Narrative Promotion alongside fellow ex-WWE star Adam Scherr.
