One injured WWE star won’t be able to make the January 6th Raw debut on Netflix.

On January 23rd, news broke that Monday Night Raw would be leaving USA Network and moving to Netflix in 2025. Not only that, Netflix will be the home to the company’s premium live events internationally, marking huge changes for the WWE Network outside of the United States. In August, it was confirmed that Raw would officially debut on Netflix on January 6th, 2025.

The company has already begun hyping up the big move. Triple H recently shared behind the scenes footage to help promote the Netflix partnership, and it’s also been confirmed that John Cena will be a part of the January 6th Raw debut. Roman Reigns is set to wrestle a rare TV match for the occasion, and multiple WWE legends including The Rock are expected to be involved with the show.

Why Bronson Reed Won’t Be At WWE Raw’s Netflix Debut

However, former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed won’t be able to attend the blockbuster event as he’s dealing with an injury.

In the main event of Survivor Series, Reed teamed with Bloodline members Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa to go to battle against Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk inside WarGames.

Near the end of the match, Reed climbed up to the top of the cage and attempted to hit a Tsunami on Roman Reigns, but CM Punk was able to make the save for his teammate at the last minute. Reed landed awkwardly, and according to reports, injured his ankle on his fall.

Taking to social media on December 16th, Reed hyped up the red brand’s move to Netflix while confirming that he would be absent from the show, writing:

Y’all wanted it. Y’all got it!

Make sure to tune into @netflix Jan 6!

I won’t be there for the debut, but when I can … I’ll be back to DESTROY EVERYONE!
