WWE Star Compares Career To The Rock & John Cena: “I See Myself More Like Triple H”

The Rock John Cena

Two of the biggest names in the movie industry, what does this WWE star have to say about his career ambitions compared to John Cena and The Rock’s Hollywood run?

Following a similar trajectory as The Rock, after a long run in the WWE, John Cena transitioned into a career in Hollywood and is currently one of the biggest names there. While The Brahma Bull enjoyed a short stint at the Stamford-based promotion, he found quick success in the movie business.

In a recent interview on The Pivot, former World Champion Seth Rollins shared his thoughts on a similar career in Hollywood. The Visionary has enjoyed small roles in movies but is far away from a full-time career there. He commented:

There are some people out there who love the Hollywood thing. I’ve done a couple of things, I don’t love it. I don’t. I wish I did. I wish I could sit here and say ‘I love it.’ I’m open. If anybody is listening, I’m open to roles.”

He further claimed that while Cody Rhodes, John Cena, and The Rock are more suitable for that career option, he is more open to exploring a career path like Triple H.

Cody (Rhodes) might be a Hollywood guy, I don’t know. John (Cena), that’s what he wants to do and he’s great at it. Dwayne, he was from the get-go. His run was short. He comes in in 98 and is gone in 2002 to do Scorpion King. Four years, he’s in and out. He always saw himself as being The Rock, the biggest movie star on the planet. He always saw himself taking those steps to get to that level. I see myself more like Triple H. I might dabble in movies here and there.”

Rollins is set to be a part of “Captain America: Brave New World” film but was reportedly cut out of the final render of the MCU movie after multiple reshoots.

In the same interview, Seth Rollins also opened up on a few career options he would like to explore after finishing up with his in-ring career.

John Cena Has Opened Up On His Final WrestleMania Match

Recently, during a WrestleMania 41 ticket promotion post on X (Twitter), John Cena hyped up the PLE before addressing his final match at ‘The Grandest Stage of them all’.

Let’s go to work for my final match in a WrestleMania experience. The grandest stage of them all. WrestleMania 41, Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, Nevada. I will have my final WrestleMania match at this event and we’ve all heard the rumors. We’ve all questioned who’s going to show up? You will never be able to see if you don’t get the combo tickets.

So act now because after this, you can’t see me.”
