This current WWE star is allegedly good friends with Mercedes Mone.
Earlier this year, current AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone launched a personal texting service on her website for $99.99 per month. The service, powered by VIP Texting, offers “exclusive”, “personal”, and “one-on-one” chats with Mone herself.
No sooner did the announcement become public, it attracted some negative reaction from the fans, as well as Becky Lynch herself. Recently, while appearing on the latest episode of What Do You Wanna Talk About? With Cody Rhodes, Ricky Saints opened up on a monthly subscription text service. While many fans believed it was a shot at All Elite Wrestling star Mone, others argued that the comment was more likely directed toward Cody Rhodes’ ‘Ask Me Anything’ text service from a few years ago.
However, as the rumor started spreading about Saints taking a dig at the CEO, the former FTW Champion shared an update on X(Twitter) and cleared the rumors. Claiming to be good friends with her, Saints stated that he did not roast the current champion.
”roasts” she’s a good friend of mine.”
Saints is now scheduled to face Ethan Page at the Great American Bash in a ‘Falls Count Anywhere’ match, while Mone is all set to face Toni Storm for the Women’s title at All In 2025.
Mercedes Mone Believes She Helped This Popular Star Get Signed With WWE
Ahead of Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE debut last year, she was involved in a classical display of wrestling against Mercedes Mone at AEW. Soon after Vaquer’s jump, Mone opened up in her Mone Mag, and credited herself for making the jump happen.
Another time was with Stephanie Vaquer for AEW’s Forbidden Door. Stephanie flew in that day and got to the building maybe an hour before the doors opened. We just talked about the match a little where she speaks a whole different language (Spanish). That was so hard. I’m like, my God, we don’t get time to walk over our moves, we speak two different languages, and we’re both tired, jet lagged, and hungry, too. Yet, that also turned out to be such a great match. She was signed by the WWE days later. I’d like to think our match had a say in that!
