WWE Star Boasts Of Silencing Paul Heyman, Tells CM Punk To “Prepare”

Paul Heyman Gunther CM Punk WWE SummerSlam Bron Breakker 2025

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther had a message for Paul Heyman and CM Punk following WWE RAW.

Last Saturday, Gunther retired Bill Goldberg. This was arguably the Austrian’s biggest career moment thus far. On Monday, mere days after this extraordinary feat, Punk prevailed in a Gauntlet Match to punch his ticket to SummerSlam against the World Heavyweight Champion.

Earlier in the night, despite the Oracle’s best efforts, The Ring General was unfazed by the former’s empty threats. In the end, it was CM Punk who emerged as the victor over Heyman’s new pet project, Bron Breakker.

Gunther Warns CM Punk Ahead Of First-Time-Ever Match On Television At WWE SummerSlam

While The Best in the World has squared off against Gunther since his return to the company in 2023, they were all at untelevised live events. For the first time ever, the two will lock horns in a televised match at WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event.

On Instagram, Gunther highlighted his interaction with Heyman and Breakker on RAW. He pointed out that he was not affected, even in the slightest, by the Oracle’s threats. He also issued a warning to Punk, reminding the former AEW World Champion of his recent triumphs.

Retired Goldberg. Silenced Heyman. Punk, prepare,” Gunther wrote.

Although Breakker fell to Punk in the main event, the youngster was undoubtedly the Iron Man of the bout. As for a potential match between Breakker and The Ring General, it’s worth noting that the two are no strangers to one another. The former two-time Intercontinental Champion scored a victory over RAW’s top guy in NXT on April 5, 2022, for the NXT Title.

As for Breakker, it seems he is set to team up with Bronson Reed against Jey Uso and the returning Roman Reigns.
