A member of the WWE Raw roster will be making an appearance at their old promotion shortly before Christmas.
On November 22nd, Over The Top Wrestling announced on social media that Lyra Valkryria would be returning to the promotion on December 21st as part of their homecoming show in Dublin. A brief video package of Valkyria’s highlights in WWE was part of the video confirming the appearance.

Valkyria competed in the promotion from 2017 to 2019 and is a former OTT Women’s Champion. First a part of NXT UK before making the jump to the US branch, Valkyria defeated Becky Lynch in late 2023 to become the NXT Women’s Champion. Valkyria lost the title to Roxanne Perez over WrestleMania weekend at Stand & Deliver and was called up to the main roster in the 2024 Draft.
Valkryria will be the latest contracted name to appear at the promotion as World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh appeared at the 10th anniversary show earlier in the year. Balor and McDonagh defeated Matthew Smyth and Sean Guinness in the main event of the show.
End Of An Era For WWE Fans
First launched in 2014, the WWE Network became a game changer for wrestling fans as it gave them access to shows from the past while also including all PPV and PLEs within the price of subscription. While the Network shut down in the United States in April 2021 and was replaced with Peacock, fans around the world still used the service to access content.
However, when it was announced that Raw would be moving over to Netflix in 2025, fans outside the United States expected to see the Network phased out. In a new update, WWE confirmed that the Network would be closing down soon.
