WWE Star Admits Roman Reigns Storyline Still Haunts Them

A current WWE star has shared their memories of an infamous Roman Reigns storyline and how they are still receiving flashbacks all those years later.

After winning the King of the Ring tournament in 2019, Baron Corbin entered a rivalry with Reigns. Achieving a rare pinfall victory over the former World Champion, which only 2 wrestlers have been able to do since [Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes], Cobrin decided to poke fun at Reigns’ “Big Dog nickname. Along with Dolph Ziggler, Corbin tied Reigns to the ring post and dumped dog food onto the future Tribal Chief.

Getting payback on King Corbin in January 2020, Reigns and The Usos defeated Corbin, Ziggler and Robert Roode and dumped a bucket of dog food onto the King after the match to humiliate his rival.

When the infamous storyline was brought up on social media, Corbin responded that he would never forget that smell:

Still makes me want to vomit. That smell will never leave my brain.

Roman Reigns Out For Revenge

While few would have believed during the Corbin storyline that Reigns was going to turn heel and have the most dominant run as World Champion in the modern era, SummerSlam 2020 saw the unthinkable happen to kickstart Reigns’ greatest period of his WWE career. Holding the championship for nearly 4 years, Reigns went on hiatus after losing the title to Cody Rhodes before receiving a thunderous babyface pop at SummerSlam upon his return, which fans also couldn’t have predicted back in 2019.

With Reigns back on SmackDown, his first order of business is to rectify the recent developments of The Bloodline now that Solo Sikoa is in charge of the group. However, just as it seemed that Roman Reigns had things under control, Jacob Fatu laid waste to The Original Tribal Chief.

In a new interview, Baron Corbin admitted he was hesitant over a WWE partnership.
