WWE Star Accuses AEW’s Swerve Strickland Of “Stealing His Ideas”

Swerve Strickland AEW

AEW star Swerve Strickland finds himself in the middle of the feud between Hit Row and The OC on WWE SmackDown.

Prior to signing with All Elite Wrestling, the star was part of the Hit Row faction in WWE. However, shortly after the group was called up to SmackDown as part of the 2021 WWE Draft, all four members were released from their contracts.

Top Dolla, B-Fab, and Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis returned to the blue brand in August of 2022, but Strickland was already holding tag team gold in AEW.

Ahead of the June 2nd episode of SmackDown, Top Dolla (real name AJ Francis) took to social media to post a rap about members of The OC as the two teams are currently at odds with one another. Part of the rap included this line from B-Fab:

“And don’t even get me started on ‘Mid-chin.’ Everybody see she’s trynna swag like me.”

This led to a response from Mia Yim, who fired back:

“‘Mid-chin,’ girl at least I’m out here WORKIN. Keep lookin cute on the side with your lil boys.”

When Francis responded with a thumbs down gif, Yim responded again, bringing up the group’s former fourth member:

“That’s everyone when y’all come out without Swerve.”

This led Top Dolla to make the claim:

“You prolly stole this tweet like he steals my ideas”

Strickland has yet to weigh in on the social media feud.

Swerve Strickland Competed In The Blackjack Battle Royale At AEW Double Or Nothing

At AEW Double or Nothing, Orange Cassidy defended his International Championship in a highly-praised Blackjack Battle Royale. The match saw plenty of twists and turns, including the renewal of tension between Strickland and his former tag team partner Keith Lee.

Strickland and Cassidy were the final two participants in the match, and in the end, Cassidy was able to retain his championship when he threw Strickland over the top rope.
