SmackDown star Grayson Waller had some biting words for Cody Rhodes ahead of his Elimination Chamber appearance.
Before Rhodes gets a chance to finish his story at WrestleMania, he’ll be appearing alongside Seth Rollins on a special edition of The Grayson Waller Effect in Perth, Australia at the upcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event.
Taking to social media, Waller took a jab at Rhodes, joking about his inability to finish his story. Waller wrote:
“Halfway to Perth and already finished my book. At least someone in WWE can finish a story”

Who Will Cody Rhodes Face At WrestleMania?
When Cody Rhodes won the men’s Royal Rumble match, he pointed straight to Roman Reigns and said he was coming for The Tribal Chief, a clear indication that he intended to finish his story with Reigns on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
At the press conference following the event, Rhodes made his intentions even more clear, stating:
“All due respect in the world to Seth Rollins. That title gains more prestige every single day, but WrestleMania 39 did happen. If you’re me, you can’t look at that and you can’t run from it. I want to be back in the ring with Roman Reigns and I want to finish the story.” (h/t Fightful)
However, on the February 2nd episode of SmackDown, Rhodes declared to Reigns that he would not be coming for him at WrestleMania after all and introduced a faceoff between Reigns and The Rock.
Cody Rhodes reportedly warned WWE that the SmackDown segment would get a negative reaction, and sure enough, chants of “Rocky sucks” could be heart at both NXT Vengeance Day and Monday Night Raw.
At the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference on February 8th, Cody Rhodes declared that he would be facing Reigns at WrestleMania after all, and Triple H soon made the match official on social media. An enraged Rock told Triple H to “fix it.”
During a recent episode of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes suffered a historic loss.
