WWE plans a huge push for SmackDown talent.
In the recent Saturday Night’s Main Event show, WWE confirmed the second edition of Evolution, which will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, at the State Farm Arena on July 13, 2025. No matches or superstars are confirmed for the upcoming premium live event yet, but since it will take place in Atlanta, hometown star Jade Cargill is expected to appear.
According to PWInsider, WWE is planning to give Jade Cargill a significant push. Since she’s from the area, putting her in a prominent role is deemed a promotional strategy by the Stamford-based promotion, which can help boost ticket sales and build a strong hometown connection.

The report added that a major match between The Storm and the 2025 Ms. Money in the Bank, Naomi, is planned for the event.
Jade Cargill Can Also Face Another Former Champion at WWE Evolution II
Since Jade Cargill and Naomi have been feuding for a while, it wouldn’t be a shock to see both women clash again inside the squared circle. However, WWE may be planning another blockbuster match for the upcoming all-women’s premium live event.
On Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes shared that Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill has been discussed as well for Evolution II. If this does happen, it will mark the first time both women face each other.
“Another little bit we’re having, we’re hearing for you guys is we are told by several in creative one of the top matches pitched for Evolution 2 is Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill. While seeds have been planted on TV over the past few weeks, sources indicate plans for Evolution should start to become clearer once Money in the Bank is complete.”
