- Prior to the match in the opening segment Bryan & Edge exchange heated but respectful words in the ring with Bryan stating how much he respects Edge but also stating this is his moment.
- The faces aren’t waiting for the match to get going and jump the heels before the bell.
- Gable unleashes a range of incredible suplexes onto the face factions including a fantastic bump from Rey Mysterio.
- Dawkins makes a huge hot tag and clears the entire ring including a big right hand onto Otis.
- Despite their recent history, Otis and Ziggler team with no issues at all.
- Montez Ford pins Robert Roode to pick up the win.
- Post-match ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso is turned away from speaking to Roman Reigns by Paul Heyman with Uso playing a more sympathetic role than usual.

- Nia enthusiastically photographs manager Reginald has he tries on a range of suits to an electro-trance beat.
- Shayna sits on her phone looking bored and uninterested while Nia stares romantically at Reginald.
- Nia spanks Reginald’s butt before he sits on her lap and speaks French to her asking what he can do to make it up to her.
- Jax does not respond but instead, we get a comedic zoom in on Nia’s face suggesting…well…you get it.

- Earlier in the night, Rollins is interviewed on his altercation and issues with Cesaro in recent weeks.
- Rollins originally states that he and Cesaro share respect before changing his attitude and referring to the Swiss Cyborg as ‘The Biggest Waste of Potential’.
- Rollins is concerned to hear that this rematch is between his disciple and Cesaro will take place tonight.
- Murphy gets no entrance however before the match can kick-off Rollins music hits and he takes a seat on the entrance ramp.
- Murphy counters an Uppercut attempt on the outside with a vicious Flying Knee Strike, Cesaro regains control in the ring, however.
- As Cesaro locks in the Flying Swing in an attempt to transition into the Sharpshooter, Rollins jumps him breaking the hold and causing the DQ finish.
- Rollins hits a Curb Stomp on Cesaro before berating him, telling Cesaro to “get on his level” before hitting a second Curb Stomp.
- As Rollins attempts to hit a chair assisted Curb Stomp WWE officials stop him, Nakamura confronts him at the top of the entrance ramp.

- Edge starts by discussing his history with Jey and his brother, including training when they were ten years old.
- He attempts to snap Uso out of his slump and his ‘lap dog’ attitude, asking what would your Dad think about this.
- Closing the short segment Uso states that his family run the show now and Edge should go back to his and enjoy some time with them because, after WrestleMania, he won’t be able to do anything with them.

- Owens starts by stating that if Belair and Banks win the Tag Championships at Fastland and go one to face off at WrestleMania they will be the second duo to hold Tag Titles whilst facing off for the Indivudal Title… the other two names… Shawn Michaels and John Cena.
- Sasha states that the EST would be nothing without the B-EST and that, is her.
- As two almost come to blows, the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions make their way down the rank followed by the duo of Tamina Snuka and Natalya Neidhart.
- Shayna and Nia are on commentary, Nia refers to her relationship with ‘bae’ Reginald as a ‘Situationship’
- Reginald provides a referee distraction to prevent Belair pinning Natalya, before posing on the SmackDown announce table.
- Sasha is distracted by Reginald allowing Tamina to pick up a Roll-Up victory over the Champion and Challenger.
- Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship confirmed for next week.

- Big E makes his way to the ring wrapped in a variety of bandages, a neck brace and leg brace, all before ripping them off and dancing to the ring.
- The Intercontinental Champion delivers a motivating promo stating that he will now go biblical on Apollo Crews and that no longer is pinning him enough.
- ‘I’ve got to end you’ Big E states to Apollo Crews.
- Big E offers Apollo Crews a Title shot and as Crews does not respond Big E opens up an Open Challenge for the title.
- Corbin attempts to accept the challenge however as he cuts a long promo, Zayn runs out just screaming I accept and demanding that he is the one that should now get the title show.
- Zayn is immediately hit with a huge belly-to-belly Suplex before the bell rings, the match officially kicks off on return from the ad-break.
- Big E counters a top rope elbow drop into a series of Belly-to-Bellies before hitting a series of chest strikes whilst calling out for Apollo to get down here.
- Post-match Apollo attacks Big E with the steel steps posing over on top of the weaponized steel steps.

- Adam Pearce hosts the segment and states that both parties have reviewed the contracts and everything appears to be in order.
- Reigns continues to bully Pearce forcing him to move his seat and pull it out as he sits down for him.
- Bryan ignores Reigns’ attempts to get out of the match, signing the contract immediately.
- The former WWE Champion states that last week he did something that Roman Reigns never could, he made Jey Uso quit.
- Bryan cuts a humourous scathing promo declaring himself the self-appointed head of the table and saying Afa is going to love him.
- Jey Uso angered by Bryan stating that he is going to tap Reigns out like he did Jey Uso demands a special guest enforcer for the match at Fastlane.
- Edge comes out and suggests that next week he has his first SmackDown match in 10 years, taking on Jey Uso with the winner made special guest enforcer for the Universal Championship match Fastlane.
