Roman Reigns Reveals SmackDown Elimination Chamber Stipulation, Adam Pearce Announces First Two Entrants

.@WWERomanReigns will defend the #UniversalTitle against whoever wins the #SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match on the very same night at #WWEChamber!@ScrapDaddyAP@HeymanHustlepic.twitter.com/vCcRgcm0XB

— WWE (@WWE) February 13, 2021

  • Reigns makes his way to the ring to open the show as we see Adam Pearce already standing in it with a contract in hand. Roman demands Pearce step closer to him and reminds him that he commands Pearce, not the other way round.
  • Reigns moves on to Edge and says Edge was scared last week because he knows he’d beat him down so bad WWE would have put him on a Legends contract before asking about Pearce’s contract. Pearce says his contract stipulates that Reigns will defend the Universal title in Elimination Chamber like Drew.
  • Roman passes it over to Heyman who says that Roman doesn’t need to defend the title at Elimination Chamber but whoever wins will face Reigns straight after. Pearce obviously doesn’t like the idea but Heyman says he has no choice and tells Pearce to announce the stipulation as such.
  • Pearce begrudgingly accepts and says they’ll be some qualifying matches for Elimination Chamber tonight but announces that Jey Uso and Kevin Owens are in the match immediately. Roman squares up to Pearce but Heyman gets him to back off.
  • After a commercial break, Sonya talks to Pearce backstage and suggests a tag team match of Sami Zayn & King Corbin vs Rey & Dominik Mysterio. The winner team will both qualify for Elimination Chamber.

Sami Zayn & King Corbin vs Rey Mysterio & Dominik Mysterio – Winners Both Recieve A Spot In The SmackDown Elimination Chamber

Who's going to #WWEChamber?!

.@reymysterio & @DomMysterio35 battle it out against #King@BaronCorbinWWE & @SamiZayn for a spot in the #SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match! pic.twitter.com/2HNhFd62JT

— WWE (@WWE) February 13, 2021

  • During his entrance, Sami complains that he has to qualify by beating Rey & Dominik and says there’s a conspiracy by having Rey & Dominik as his opponents because they’re the poster boys for the Latin American audience. Rey & Dominik knock him off the apron to kick off the match.
  • The match starts off hot with Rey attempting a 619 on Corbin early but is caught by Zayn mid-move who drags him to the outside. Dominik takes down Zayn with a suicide dive before Mysterio hits one of his own on Corbin before we cut to a commercial break.
  • We cut back to Corbin working over Rey with a headlock. Corbin attempts a chokeslam but Rey counters into a hurricanrana into the turnbuckle, allowing Zayn to tag in. Dominik tags in from Rey and maintains control over Zayn, hitting a tightrope tornado DDT for a near-fall.
  • Dominik continued to build momentum against the opposing team, managing to knock down Corbin and hit a springboard senton on him before Zayn takes advantage and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near-fall of his own.
  • Corbin rushes the ring and attempts an End of Days on Dominik but he swings out of it, allowing Rey to hit a springboard dive which sets Corbin up for the 619. Rey and Dominik hit a dual 619 but Corbin falls out the ring afterwards and pulls Rey with him.
  • Taking advantage of Dominik’s momentary distraction, Zayn hits an exploder suplex on Dominik in the corner before hitting a Helluva Kick to pick up the win.
  • Afterwards, we see Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler confront Sonya & Pearce about not being considered for the Elimination Chamber match. Sonya tells them they can earn their spots but only if they beat the team of Cesaro & Daniel Bryan.

Winners: Sami Zayn & King Corbin via Pinfall, qualifying for the SmackDown Elimination Chamber in 7:30

Big E Lays Out An Open Challenge

This is getting HEATED. 😮#SmackDown@WWEBigE@WWEApollopic.twitter.com/SBbibF1nUK

— WWE (@WWE) February 13, 2021

  • We see a recap of Big E defending the Intercontinental Championship against Zayn & Crews last week before we cut to Big E in the ring. He says the odds were against him last week but he overcame them. He says he wants to put the Zayn & Crews chapter behind him before Crews interrupts.
  • Crews says he can read Big E like a book and he was about to offer an open challenge which Crews accepts. Big E says he’s half-right, he’s offering an open challenge against anyone but Crews. Crews taunts Big E by saying he’s not holding up his offer of being a fighting champion.
  • The two get in each other’s faces and bicker back and forth. Big E tells Crews to go to the back and asks for his next challenger to be brought out: Shinsuke Nakamura.

— WWE (@WWE) February 13, 2021

  • Nakamura starts aggressive, hitting a knee strike to Big E’s face for a 1-count before getting flattened via a Big E clothesline followed up by the splash on the apron. We see Crews at ringside cheering on Nakamura, at times getting on the apron to distract Big E.
  • Nakamura takes advantage of the distraction, hitting several strikes before placing Big E on the top rope and hitting a knee to the gut. Nakamura hits a middle rope knee strike for a near-fall. Nakamura telegraphs the Kinshasa but Big E catches him into a Big Ending attempt which Nakamura escapes from.
  • Nakamura tries for the Kinshasa a second time but Big E catches him into an Urange which connects, getting him a near-fall of his own. Big E tries for the Big Ending again and Nakamura escapes before Crews hits a dropkick on Big E to cause a disqualification.

Winner: Big E via Disqualification, retaining the Intercontinental Championship in 3:15

Seth Rollins Returns To SmackDown

Listen up! @WWERollins is back with a brand-new "vision" for #SmackDown. pic.twitter.com/et8cUJC1DI

— WWE (@WWE) February 13, 2021

  • The locker room surrounds the ring for Seth’s return as he makes his way to the ring with his ‘Burn It Down’ entrance theme. Seth says it feels good to be back after sacrificing himself at Survivor Series and says the thing that’s changed the most is him.
  • Seth says the birth of his daughter gave him a new outlook but he looks around at the lockerroom and wonders where he fits in. Rollins says he can be the leader, father and mentor of Smackdown which causes the locker room to leave. Rollins ends by you need to embrace ‘The Vision’ for a better tomorrow.
  • The only person left at ringside is Cesaro but Cesaro stands Rollins up and goes to leave as well. Rollins goes beserk and beats Cesaro down before being pushed away by Bryan. Rollins leaves as Cesaro remains injured at ringside.

Bayley vs Liv Morgan

.@BillieKayWWE surprised @RubyRiottWWE with a special résumé update… but the timing was clearly off. #SmackDown@itsBayleyWWE@YaOnlyLivvOncepic.twitter.com/SF6vryqFgE

— WWE (@WWE) February 13, 2021

  • We see a recap of Billie costing Ruby her match with Bayley last week before the bell rings for Bayley vs Liv. Liv starts off aggressive and manages to gain control, hitting a missile dropkick early for a 2-count. Bayley rolls to the outside as we see Natalya and Tamina looking on from backstage.
  • Liv tries for a diving tackle off the stairs but Bayley sidesteps her, causing Morgan to crash headfirst into the barricade. Morgan seems injured but still manages to hit a springboard facebuster for another 2-count.
  • Morgan tries for another springboard but Bayley catches her with a forearm before hitting a shoulder breaker for a 1-count. Morgan manages to stun Bayley with a enziguri before hitting her single leg facebuster for a close near-fall.
  • Billie makes her way ringside and shows Ruby her updated resume. Ruby knocks it out of her hand and this distracts Liv long enough for Bayley to hit the Rose Plant to pick up the win. Ruby scowls at Billie as Bayley walks away victorious.

Winner: Bayley via Pinfall in 3:45

The Street Profits vs Alpha Academy

LIGHT WORK for @otiswwe!#SmackDownpic.twitter.com/WlH136XQJH

— WWE (@WWE) February 13, 2021

  • As Alpha Academy make their way to the ring, we see the two training backstage with Otis doing squats as Gable fires a smoke machine in his face. Dawkins and Gable start off with some grappling on the canvas. Dawkins escape and the two exchange arm drags before Dawkins tags in Ford.
  • Ford uses his athleticism to taunt and frustrate Gable but Gable eventually catches him into an arm drag into an armbar, working on Ford’s left arm. Ford eventually escapes after Dawkins gets a blind tag, allowing Street Profits to hit an assisted moonsault for a near-fall.
  • Dawkins locks in a headlock on Gable who rolls out of it before tagging in Otis. Otis throws Ford to the outside before hitting a corner splash on Dawkins. Otis connects with the Caterpillar before tagging in Gable who tries to get him to hit a clothesline/Chaos Theory combination.
  • Otis falls out of the ring after Ford pulls the rope down, allowing Street Profits to hit their spinebuster/frog splash combination to pick up the win.
  • After the match, Sasha Banks makes her entrance during The Street Profits’ celebration. The three dance before the Street Profits head to the back and Sasha continues to make her way to the ring as we cut to commercial.

Winners: The Street Profits via Pinfall in 4:50

Sasha Banks Calls Out Bianca Belair, Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler Interrupt

.@SashaBanksWWE & @BiancaBelairWWE left @NiaJaxWWE in a whole lot of pain. 😬 #SmackDown@QoSBaszlerpic.twitter.com/UTVHCIGVYD

— WWE (@WWE) February 13, 2021

  • Sasha says she likes Bianca a lot and there’s only one choice to make: M-E, Me. Bianca interrupts and says she likes her too but she’s not the boss of her before Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler interrupt.
  • Nia & Shayna remind us that they won back the Women’s Tag Titles the same night Bianca won the Royal Rumble and that they’re the most unstoppable force in WWE. Sasha & Bianca troll them by showing Shayna’s loss on RAW and Nia’s ‘my hole’ incident which causes the champions to attack the two.
  • Sasha and Bianca manage to fend them off, with Sasha atomic dropping Nia onto the apron to injure her rear again. Bianca and Sasha stand tall in the ring and hold the Women’s Tag Team and SmackDown’s Women’s Championships over Shayna and Nia.

  • Bryan throws Roode to the outside and attempts a tope suicida but Roodge dodges last minute, causing Bryan to hit Cesaro instead. Roode and Ziggler throw their opponents into the opposing steel steps as Zayn & Corbin appear on the entranceway before we cut to commerical.
  • We cut back to Ziggler locking in a sleeper hold on Bryan as the smaller competitor attempts to tag in Cesaro. Ziggler drags Bryan back to his corner before tagging in Roode who beats down Bryan in the corner before distracting the referee, allowing Ziggler to get in a cheap shot.
  • Roode hits a suplex for a 2-count before tagging in Ziggler who hits the heartstopper elbow for a 2-count of his own. We see Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman watching the match from backstage as Zayn & Corbin have moved to the ringside area to get a close view.
  • Ziggler takes Bryan to the top rope but Bryan manages to push him down before following up with a missile dropkick. Ziggler manages to tag in Roode who knocks down Cesaro but Bryan takes advantage with a roll-up for a 2-count.
  • Roode retaliates with a stiff spinebuster for a near-fall before tagging in Ziggler. The two hit a double spinning suplex for another near-fall before Bryan pushes Ziggler away long enough to tag in Cesaro. Cesaro clears house before hitting a lifting european uppercut on Ziggler for a near-fall.
  • Cesaro sets-up for the Swing but Roode chopblocks Cesaro’s knee. Bryan takes out Roode with the running knee but Ziggler hits the famouser for a two-count. Cesaro hits a backbreaker, hits The Swing and locks in the Sharpshooter to pick up the win.
