WWE SmackDown on FOX will emanate from the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska as the twists and turns to the Royal Rumble – and a WWE Hall Of Famer – come to Cornhuskers country!

With just over two weeks until the Royal Rumble and the start of the Road to WrestleMania, SmackDown will see the number one contender to the WWE Universal Title in attendance. Seth “Freakin” Rollins was confirmed as Reigns’ challenger last week and the Raw star will be face to face with his former tag team partner on the show.

Roman Reigns might be in a celebratory mood on SmackDown as The Head Of The Table has surpassed 500 days as the WWE Universal Champion. Barring an impromptu match on the blue brand tonight, Reigns will soon surpass Brock Lesnar’s record to become the longest-reigning Universal Champion in the title’s 5-year history.

Last week on SmackDown, Charlotte Flair announced her intention enter the women’s Royal Rumble match despite being the reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion.

The Queen also announced several former WWE Superstars that will be returning to take their place in the showpiece match. WWE Hall Of Famer Lita was one of those women and she will be in attendance at SmackDown surely to remind everyone of how she became a 4-time WWE Women’s Champion.

One star that doesn’t look likely to be part of the Royal Rumble is King Woods. Woods suffered a plantaris injury during his and Kofi Kingston’s bout last week with The Usos that will see the 2021 King Of The Ring out of action for several weeks.

Also on SmackDown, Sami Zayn promises to “out Jackass” Johnny Knoxville on his own “InZayn” show. Jackass star Knoxville was the first – and as of yet most surprising – declared entrant for this year’s men’s Royal Rumble.

A singles debut will also take place on the show as Aliyah makes her one-on-one blue brand debut against veteran Natalya.
