WWE SmackDown Live Results- July 4, 2025: Former WWE Champion returns, Solo Sikoa and new Bloodline rebranded & more

Hi everyone!

Welcome to ITR Wrestling’s live coverage of WWE SmackDown. This week’s edition of the show is set to feature top notch stars like Tiffany Stratton, winners of the King & Queen of the Ring Tournament – Cody Rhodes and Jade Cargill, and much more.

Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa attacked!

Solo Sikoa is seen rolling into the arena in his car, admiring his United States Championship but is attacked by Jacob Fatu. Security get involved to separate the two stars.

Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes is here to address fans after his King of the Ring win

The American Nightmare is here to kick off the show.

Rhodes points to the crown and claims he left a piece of himself in Saudi Arabia, defeating Randy Orton to win. He namedrops Bret Hart, Triple H, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin – previous winners of King of the Ring. The WWE Star talks about his upcoming rematch against John Cena at SummerSlam for the Undisputed Championship.

He is interrupted by Randy Orton. The Viper recalls his message to Rhodes for the past few weeks that he would not hesitate to do what it takes. He reflects on their match at Night of Champions, and how he hesitated but Rhodes didn’t. Orton cites he will never forget it but respects The American Nightmare for his determination. He tells Rhodes to promise to kick John Cena’s a** at SummerSlam.

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre makes thunderous WWE SmackDown return!

The two WWE megastars are disrupted by Drew McIntyre’s thunderous return. He mocks their conversation and how Orton’s surgically repaired back was attacked by ‘someone’ who smelt blood in shark waters, Cody Rhodes.

McIntyre questions what happened to the Apex Predator, and now, he’s gone soft. He adds that the legend of Randy Orton is now dead as far as he is concerned.

The Scottish Warrior cites he is rooting for Cody Rhodes to win back the title so he could be the one to take it away from him. He says he will not hesitate, as he turns to Randy Orton but is hit with a vicious RKO.

Charlotte Flair

New WWE SmackDown Tag Team formed!

Meanwhile, backstage Charlotte Flair approaches Nick Aldis hinting at a shot at Tiffany Stratton’s title. The SmackDown General Manager informs Flair that she will be involved in a tag team match for gold. Alexa Bliss appears beside her indicating that they will be teamed up.

Drew McIntyre meets Nick Aldis backstage and requests a match against Randy Orton at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Jacob Fatu shows up as McIntyre is done with his conversation and teases an alliance with Jimmy Uso for a tag team match tonight on SmackDown.

Alexa Bliss

Triple Threat Tag Team Match: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Secret Hervice vs B-Fab & Michin

Alexa Bliss, Michin and Piper Niven start off the match. Flair tags herself in.

She kicks Alba Fyre off the apron as Niven attempts a suplex but is met with vicious chops. Michin continues the attack.

Piper Niven tries a clothesline on Michin, who dodges in the ring, and launches a suicide dive on Flair outside the ring. Fyre is tagged in and follows it with a splash off the top rope.

Charlotte Flair climbs up the top rope but dismissively pats Alexa Bliss’s head. Her moonsault attempt is disrupted by Chelsea Green who tries to distract the referee. Meanwhile, Bliss is the official tagged member, attacks Alba Fyre with the twisted bliss and pins her for the win.

Result: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss def. Secret Hervice and B-Fab & Michin

After the match, Flair and Bliss share an awkward hug indicating at the birth of their new, unlikely alliance.

Vacant

Nick Aldis met with difficult decision regarding the men's tag team division

The men’s tag team division is in peril as four teams are surrounding Nick Aldis who comes clean on his decision. He sets up an 8-man tag team match against the Wyatt Sicks, and adds that the group is here to stay.

Bo Dallas

Wyatt Sicks vs. Humberto, Montez Ford, Chris Sabin and Johnny Gargano

Dexter Lumis flings Humberto across the ring like a ragdoll. He tags in Johnny Gargano who attempts to convince Lumis of a truce. The Wyatt Sicks member is in no mood and slams him on the mat.

Uncle Howdy, Eric Rowan and Joe Gacy enter the ring and a brawl breaks out. Rowan sets up Humberto and Gargano for a double chokeslam but fails, enabling all four opponents hits him out of the ring with a superkick.

Rowan and Lumis turns things around outside the ring as Montez Ford taunts them. Chaos erupts in the ring as Chris Sabin is the officially tagged person in the ring. Joe Gacy knocks him out of the ring with a clothesline over the top rope, Ford follows it up with a dive.

Uncle Howdy slams Sabin before tagging in Eric Rowan. He knocks out Humberto and Montez Ford, who try to interfere. Chris Sabin struggles to his feet and sets up the DDT.  Johnny Gargano extends his hand for a tag but moves away at the last second, leaving Chris Sabin at the mercy of Eric Rowan’s brutal crossbodies and chops. Rowan hits Sabin with the ironclaw chokeslam and pins him for the win.

Result: Wyatt Sicks vdef. Humberto, Montez Ford, Chris Sabin and Johnny Gargano

Tiffany Stratton

It's Tiffy time!

Tiffany Stratton is here to talk about her future contender at SummerSlam – Jade Cargill.

She’s ready to defend her title at Evolution but is interrupted by Jade Cargill. The Queen of the Ring stakes her claim, that she’s willing to go through Stratton twice for the Women’s Championship.

Stratton responds that she has a surprise for Cargill as Trish Stratus makes her entrance. She highlights the evolution of the women’s division in WWE.

Stratus thanks Stratton for their previous tag team match in Canada, letting her kids see her compete in the ring. Trish Stratus teases becoming an 8-time Women’s Champion.

Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa's Bloodline gets a new name

A vignette of Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline airs. He talks about their dominance and calls themselves MFT – My Family Tree. Could this be their new name?

Meanwhile, Jade Cargill meets Trish Stratus backstage, informing her that if she defeats Tiffany Stratton at Evolution, she will face her at SummerSlam. Stratus walks away as Cargill looks on but is unsuspectingly attacked by Naomi.

Andrade

Andrade and Rey Fenix vs. Fraxiom

All four high-flyers start the match with a brawl in the middle of the ring.

Andrade on the top rope for a moonsault on Nathan Frazer and a pin but Axiom breaks it up in time. Andrade chops Frazer into the corner. Axiom is tagged in and hits a Spanish fly off the top rope, Frazer connects a double flip off the top rope. Rey Fenix jumps in the ring on time to break the 3-count.

As Rey Fenix takes care of Nathan Frazer outside the ring, Andrade sets up Axiom for a DDT followed by a pin for the win.

Result: Andrade & Rey Fenix def. Fraxiom

Damien Priest

Damian Priest sends Aleister Black a stern warning

Damian Priest bumps into Aleister Black backstage to talk about R-Truth. Black responds to Priest’s claims about their match next week.

The Archer of Infamy tells Aleister Black that R-Truth will not be the victim of violence. A stern warning that Priest will stop at nothing to get revenge.

Solo Sikoa

Jacob Fatu & Jimmy Uso vs. Solo Sikoa & JC Mateo

Solo Sikoa teases starting the match with Jacob Fatu but rolls out, tagging in JC Mateo.

Fatu hits him with punches outside the ring before tagging in Jimmy Uso. Mateo then tags in Solo Sikoa, who mocks Fatu while attacking his brother.

Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu are officially tagged in. The two men were charged with powerful blows. A vicious clothesline by Fatu knocks out the US Champion. He follows it up with a clothesline and a senton off the top rope. The Samoan Werewolf launches a series of headbutts to showcase dominance.

Solo Sikoa attempts a Samoan spike, but Fatu dodges, jumping on the top rope for a moonsault. Jacob Fatu pins Solo Sikoa for the win.

Result: Jacob Fatu & Jimmy Uso def. Solo Sikoa & JC Mateo 

After winning the match, he drags Sikoa onto the commentators’ table and climbs up the top rope. Tala Tonga and Tonga Loa prevent him from the attack as Jimmy Uso intercepts them. Tala Tonga gets Jimmy Uso with a strong right hand, knocking him out.

JC Mateo, Tala Tonga and Tonga Loa set up Jacob Fatu for Solo Sikoa to hit him with a spike. They set up Fatu for a triple powerbomb on the announce desk outside the ring as Solo Sikoa stands over him with the United States Championship.
