Welcome to ITR Wrestling’s live coverage of WWE SmackDown. This week Brock Lesnar makes a statement after his attack on John Cena last week. Tiffany Stratton defends her Women’s Title against Jade Cargill & more.

Drew McIntyre

SmackDown Main Event: Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton

Randy Orton takes out Drew McIntyre with a clothesline. The Scottish Warrior gets up to his feet, Orton follows him and sends him into the corner with a series of punches.

McIntyre takes a cheap shot at Orton, trying to scratch his eyes. The Viper recovers, but his opponent spares no mercy; he attacks him with punches and kicks. Orton’s left knee seems to be injured, and McIntyre is taking advantage by targeting his leg.

McIntyre now has a figure four lock on Orton in the middle of the ring.

Orton reverses the move and puts pressure on McIntyre who manages to grab the bottom rope to break the hold.


The Scottish Warrior is relentless and slams Orton on the announcer’s table. The referee starts the 10-count as McIntyre is gloating in the ring. Orton gets up to his feet at the last minute and rolls back in the ring to break the count.

The Viper takes control with vicious uppercuts to his opponent. Orton gets his payback with three slams to McIntyre on the announcer’s table as the chant ‘one more time’.

McIntyre with a dropkick to Orton who tries to enter the ring again. The Scottish Warrior climbs up the top rope but Orton hits him with an RKO.

Orton with a draping DDT to McIntyre. He gears up for the stomp but the official prevents him. This distraction lets McIntyre hit his opponent with the Claymore and pins him to win.

Result: Drew McIntyre def. Randy Orton

After the match, Drew McIntyre attacks Orton and sets him up for an attack on the announcer’s table just like he did with Cody Rhodes a few weeks ago.

The American Nightmare returns and attacks McIntyre. And challenges him to a match at Wrestlepalooza.

Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio faces new predicament ahead of Worlds Collide

A clip of Rey Mysterio BTS at Worlds Collide, being interviewed, is aired. He talks about the high stakes on the match card. Dominik Mysterio interrupts him and says if he becomes double champion, Rey will have to put the titles around his waist. After this, Finn Balor shows up and tells Dominik that he’ll be out there for his match alone with no backup.

Backstage, Carmelo Hayes tells Sami Zayn he’s next in line to challenge for the US title. The Miz appears behind him and looks confused. And points out Hayes going to NXT and the tag title match botch.

Charlotte Flair

Nick Aldis confirms Charlotte Flair's injury is legitimate on SmackDown

Backstage Chelsea Green hounds Nick Aldis who confirms Charlotte Flair’s injury is legitimate.

Tiffany Stratton

Women's Championship: Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill takes brutal punches to the champion to kick off the match. Stratton fights back and manages to dodge her blows.

Tiffany Stratton sends Jade Cargill outside the ring. She climbs up the top rope, Cargill follows her and hits her with a massive superplex.Jade Cargill with a boss woman slam and pin that ends in a two-count.

Cargll lifts Stratton for a powerbomb which she counters into a hurricanrana. The champion on the top rope for the swanton on the challenger.

Tiffany Stratton’s prettiest moonsault is interrupted by Jade Cargill who shoves her into a powerbomb. And goes for a pin, the champion kicks out.

The two women exchange punches in the middle of the ring. Jade’s punt kick almost takes her over the ropes. Stratton with a dropkick to Cargill on the apron and follows it up with a moonsault which Jade Cargill dodges.

Cargill spears Tiffany Stratton through the barricade meanwhile the referee ends the 10-count.

Result: Match ends in a draw

Nia Jax out of nowhere attacks Jade Cargill and Tiffany Statton.

Women's US Title: Giulia vs. B-Fab

Giulia and B-Fab charge at each other as soon as the bell rings.

Kiana James tries to create a disruption but B-Fab attacks her through the ropes. Giulia is furious as she launches her opponent into the barricade.

The match barely continues for a couple of minutes before Michin runs out with a kendo stick, forcing the champion to evacuate from the ring.

Match ends in DQ

Wyatt Sicks send out eerie warning on SmackDown

Sami Zayn

US Championship: Sami Zayn vs. Rey Fenix

Sami Zayn is out here on SmackDown for an open challenge for his United States Championship.

Rey Fenix is out here to face him.

Fenix takes chops to Zayn who stops him in his tracks. Fenix with an elbow to Zayn takes him out for a while. The masked star goes for a quick cover on the champion.

Sami Zayn with a clothesline and cover of his own to Rey Fenix. The champion hits Fenix with the blue thunder powerbomb and eagerly goes for a pin. The challenger fights back with a superkick and a nearfall that ends in a two-count.

Rey Fenix on the top rope with Sami Zayn. He stomps on his back and hops off. Zayn counters it into another blue thunder powerbomb.

Sami Zayn with a helluva kick to Fenix in the corner and pins him to retain the title.

Result: Sami Zayn def. Rey Fenix

Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa is furious after losing the US title

A vignette of Solo Sikoa airs where he talks about the sacrifices he made to win the US Championship. He says he’s lost the Bloodline, the Ula Fala and is now going to take back what he lost. And has been living in the shadows of others for too long.

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar Makes A Statement on WWE SmackDown

Brock Lesnar receives ‘you suck’ chants from the crowd. R-Truth comes out.

Lesnar tells him to shut up after his rapping. R-Truth says he wants to be the only one to welcome him back to WWE. Lesnar says he doesn’t know who he is and should have a good reason for interrupting him.

Truth says Lesnar’s been disrespecting his big brotherJohn Cena for way too long. Lesnar asks about Cena’s whereabouts, to which Truth says he has no idea but will stand up for his childhood hero.

R-Truth says his real name is Ron Cena. Lesnar’s cross questions him and says he’s got a tooth missing. Truth looks confused before Brock Lesnar F5’s him. And ends up ripping his pants in the attack.
