WWE Show Leaving Netflix

A Netflix show made in conjunction with WWE is set to be removed from the platform within the next few weeks.

As reported by The Verge, 20 of the 24 interactive shows and films will be leaving the service on December 1st, with the only 4 remaining being Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend, Ranveer vs. Wild with Bear Grylls, and You vs. Wild.

One of the interactive shows that will be removed is Escape The Undertaker, which sees Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods participate in the choose your own adventure special to investigate and escape a haunted house inhabited by The Undertaker. Multiple paths are available that can result in the trio successfully escaping the location or meeting their demise at the hands of The Deadman.

The first and only interactive show produced in collaboration with both companies garnered mixed reviews with a 4.2/10 rating on IMDB based on over 1,200 reviews.

WWE Prepares For The Start Of Netflix Era

January 2025 will be a major month for the company as Raw will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix around the world with markets outside the United States also receiving SmackDown, NXT and Premium Live Events included with the cost of their subscription. With just a few weeks to go until the launch date, the company are preparing promotional material for the switch. Additionally, a major change is set to happen when WWE content drops on the platform.

Additionally, a major hip-hop star is in talks to appear on the Raw premiere.
