WWE Set To Return To This International Location For Multiple Upcoming Events

WWE Show Renewed For New Season

WWE is again set to go International.

Earlier this week, WWE had confirmed their plans for Saudi Arabia. Now, within just a few days, new reports have emerged about the promotion’s plans for another International destination.

Set to return to Australia later this year, the wrestling company reportedly has some big plans for the ‘Country Down Under’. They last held the Elimination Chamber PLE in Perth, Australia in 2024. While the news was first mentioned during the TKO financial call on Wednesday, a much more detailed report has now arrived.

As per The West Australian, the new deal is a multi-event agreement over the next eighteen months.

“It was signed before the State election writs were issued on February 5, putting provisions into effect that would bar the Government from entering a new multi-million dollar deal. The price tag is being kept under wraps but the State Budget includes $37 million to lure major events to WA. The Government has previously defended the use of taxpayers money, revealing a Coldplay concert, WWE and the FIFA Women’s World Cup injected $105 million into the economy in 2023-24.”

According to reports, a new agreement between TKO and the Western Australia government designates Perth as the host city for future TKO events in Australia. These will include Raw and SmackDown episodes, a PLE, and two UFC events. These are scheduled to take place within the next 18 months, with the wrestling promotion’s set for later in 2025.

In contrast to the previous year, Optus Stadium will not host the event; the 15,500-seat RAC Arena has been selected instead. In the next few weeks, the promotion is scheduled for an European tour before WrestleMania 41, and is also slated to return to France for the Clash in Paris PLE on August 31.

Update: In a latest update shared by WWE-TKO, the report was confirmed and more information was shared on it. The promotion’s expansion of their partnership for Perth to host four additional UFC and World Wrestling Entertainment events through 2026.
