WWE Senior Writer and Producer Jennifer Pepperman has left the company.
The news was announced by PWinsider, who also confirmed that Pepperman left WWE and was not released. Pepperman, who had been with the company since 2017, had previously worked as a Director and Producer on soap operas One Life To Live and As the World Turns among others. Pepperman won a Daytime Emmy for her directing work in As the World Turns.
Pepperman was said to be working with the SmackDown brand prior to her departure.
The news of the departure was publicly acknowledged by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, who thanked Pepperman for her services on social media:
Shout out to @JenPepperman. I have always appreciated your creativity, passion, and the countless time you’ve given to help me and others backstage over the years. I’ll miss your energy, but I know you’ll be great wherever you may roam. My gratitude forever!!!
In March 2024, another WWE departure has been confirmed.
WWE Changes Continue
The sports entertainment company sees the latest name exit the promotion in 2024. Although Pepperman’s exit was voluntary, multiple on-air personalities have been recently informed that their services are no longer required.
On February 14th, news broke that the former host of The Bump Matt Camp had been released on February 7th, a move which shocked many within the company. Additionally, former WWE announcer Kevin Patrick was removed and released from the company in late January.
One week later, Jennifer Pepperman’s future has been confirmed in AEW.
