WWE are on the lookout for a new Senior Vice President of the newly established Talent Management Group, posting a vacancy online.
Posting on the WWE Careers website, the company are looking for an individual to lead the new division, with a number of responsibilities. From developing long term relationships with WWE talent, to working with senior management and executives to build the WWE brand:
“The newly established WWE Talent Management Group will deliver outstanding 360- degree support of Talent across all internal lines of business and key external partners, amplifying Talent brand value and improving monetization outlets for Talent and the WWE. The Senior Vice President, Talent is charged with the leadership, strategy, and overall success of the business unit. Reporting into the EVP, Operations and based in Stamford CT, this person will be accountable for both the short-term and long-term advancement of the division and its employees.”
This new position in the company is based at the company headquarters in Stamford, CT. Notably, the application states that the successful individual must be able to travel for business for up to a quarter of their working schedule. Clearly searching for an accomplished business expert to lead the new venture, the job listing has stated that 15+ years of leadership experience in Business Development or Brand Management within the entertainment industry is required.
This newly created position comes just a few weeks after WWE parted ways with their Senior Vice President of Programming and Media Operations, Craig Tello.
