WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XL Live Results – July 12, 2025: Goldberg’s Final WWE Match, Seth Rollins injured, Former WWE Champion Returns, & More

Hi everyone!

Welcome to ITR Wrestling’s live coverage of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XL. The show will take place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. It features a high-octane match card including Goldberg’s retirement match in WWE. He challenges Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship and much more.

Goldberg's farewell address!

Goldberg addresses fans after the match, surrounded by son Gage Goldberg, Michael Cole, and family. He thanks them and his hometown for their support over the years.

World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther vs. Goldberg

Goldberg makes his entrance accompanied by his son and WCW security, who were there by his side during his early years. Charles Robinson is officiating match.

Gunther chops Goldberg, who keeps standing tall and seems unfazed. The Ring General bounces off the rope for a tackle, but is met with a vicious clothesline. The WWE legend kicks The Ring General into the corner.

The Ring General climbs up the top rope, but his opponent holds him over his head and flings him across the ring. The champion rolls out of the ring and chops Goldberg across the chest. He goes for a spear, Gunther dodges and he rams into the barricade.

Back from the break, Gunther is focused on destroying Goldberg’s left knee. He targets it with vicious punches. The two men get back to their feet and exchange hard-hitting blows.

Gunther sets up a powerbomb in position, but Goldberg sends him over his head. He goes for a spear but accidentally spears Charles Robinson. The Ring General removes Goldberg’s knee brace and taunts the legend.

Gunther taunts Gage Goldberg ringside, who jumps over the barricade while security rushes in to prevent any further escalation. The champion rolls back into the ring and is met with a spear and a jackhammer by Goldberg. A referee rushes in, Goldberg goes for the pin, but Gunther kicks out.

Gunther locks in the sleeper hold on Goldberg as he struggles to break it. Goldberg passes out.

Result: Gunther def. Goldberg via submission 

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight

LA Knight wastes no time to in going after Seth Rollins. He flings him on the turnbuckles before launching him face first on the announcer’s table.

Back from commercial, Seth Rollins has Knight in submission move and desperately goes for a pin.

Knight goes for a BFT but Rollins rolls out and is perched on the apron. Rollins climbs up the top rope but is met with a right hand by Knight. The Megastar chops his opponent, climbs up and sets up a superplex.

The Visionary shoves him, but Knight comes running back and Rollins counters into a bucklebomb. Rollins with a flying senton, his knee gives way. His history with his knee injury might be coming back to haunt him. Rollins nurses his knee while medical personnel check up on him.

Seth Rollins barely gets up, LA Knight hits him with a BFT and pins him for the win.

Result: LA Knight def. Seth Rollins 

Randy Orton

First SummerSlam match teased

Backstage, Randy Orton checks on Jelly Roll. The musician is not backing down and wants revenge. Cathy Kelley approaches them for a response to which The Viper says just one word SummerSlam. Jelly Roll claims that he will do whatever it takes to get back at Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre.

Orton even teases a tag team name – RK- Roll for the duo.

Solo Sikoa

United States Championship: Jimmy Uso vs. Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa attempts to trash-talk with mind games on Jimmy Uso. The two exchange vicious blows, followed by Uso setting up the suicide dive on Sikoa outside the ring. The MFT’s try to help but the champion tells them not to.

Tala Tonga takes a cheap shot at Jimmy Uso behind the official’s back.

Back from commercial, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso are going at it. Jimmy Uso is hitting vicious punches. The champion’s group tries to create multiple distractions which Uso is wary of. He climbs on the top rope but the MFTs shove him over.

While the referee is distracted again, Solo Sikoa rolls up Jimmy Uso for a pin while Tala Tonga helps him stay down with the help of the rope.

Result: Solo Sikoa def. Jimmy Uso

MFT attacks a helpless Jimmy Uso and taunts him. Jacob Fatu returns and unleashes a scathing attack. He is left standing with giant Tala Tonga, and the two have a staredown. They come to blows, Fatu sends Tala Tonga over the top rope with a clothesline, followed by a dive.

Bianca Belaire

Bianca Belair returns!

IYO Sky, Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill are in attendance. As the camera pans to Cargill, Naomi appears out of nowhere and attacks Cargill forcing security to separate the two.

Nick Aldis announces Bianca Belair as the special guest referee for their No Holds Barred match at WWE Evolution.

Randy Orton

Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre

Veteran announcer Lilian Garcia is back to announce for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Jelly Roll accompanies Randy Orton for the match while Logan Paul along with Drew McIntyre.

The Scottish Warrior starts things off with punches to The Viper, setting him up in the corner. Orton sneaks out and returns the favor to McIntyre. He throws his opponent over the top rope and has a staredown with Logan Paul.

McIntyre delivers a couple of back suplexes on the announcer’s table.

Back from commercial, Randy Orton is in control, rather seems to be but is sent back first into the turnbuckle. McIntyre questions what happened to Orton to make him look. He hits the Viper with chops that seem to have no impact.

The Viper hits Drew McIntyre with three back suplexes on the announcer’s table as Logan Paul looks on. He goes for the draping DDT and gears up for the RKO but an interference by The Maverick helps McIntyre hit him with the Claymore and go an unsuccessful pin.

Jelly Roll and Logan Paul get into an argument outside the ring. McIntyre taunts the musician. The Viper hits McIntyre with an RKO and pins him for the win.

Result: Randy Orton def. Drew McIntyre

Logan Paul attacks Randy Orton. Jell Roll comes to his aid and the two throw punches. Out of nowhere, Drew McIntyre hits Jelly Roll with a claymore, knocking him out. WWE officials and security rush out while Adam Pearce yells at Drew McIntyre ‘what have you done?’
