With Vince McMahon no longer being part of TKO, a major sponsor is back for the Royal Rumble.
In 2023, Slim Jim signed a major sponsorship deal and was heavily featured at SummerSlam for the Slim Jim Battle Royal which was won by LA Knight.
The brand was expected to play a big part in the sponsorship of the Royal Rumble on January 27th as well, but when horrific allegations against McMahon surfaced in a lawsuit, Slim Jim decided to “pause” promotional activities with the company.
On the evening of January 26th, McMahon announced that he had resigned from his position in TKO with immediate effect. This appears to have been enough to get Slim Jim back on board, as WrestleVotes has now reported that they are back as the main sponsor for the Royal Rumble.
“After yesterday’s chaotic day, and the events that transpired, I am told Slim Jim is BACK as a main sponsor for tonight’s Royal Rumble PLE.”

The company later released a statement confirming the news and citing the departure of McMahon and discussions with TKO as having led to their return.
“After the departure of Vince McMahon, and discussions with WWE TKO senior leadership, Slim Jim has decided to re-enter the Royal Rumble.”
At the press conference following the event, Triple H responded to questions on the allegations by attempting to focus on the positives of WWE’s recent achievements.
