WWE Royal Rumble 2021 Preview

The 11th annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view will emanate from the WWE ThunderDome inside Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida to kick off the road to WrestleMania 37!
The 2021 edition of Royal Rumble is currently set to feature four championship matches: Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks and the team of Asuka & Charlotte Flair will all defend against their respective opponents from TLC last month in the form of Kevin Owens, Carmella and the team of Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler.
Elsewhere on the show, Drew McIntyre faces a monumental challenge in the legendary Goldberg as the WWE Hall of Famer looks to capture the WWE Championship for the very first time. We’ll also see both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches with names like Edge, Daniel Bryan, Bianca Belair and Alexa Bliss already declared across the two 30-person annual bouts.
Matches and segments announced for the show include:
- Asuka & Charlotte Flair (c) vs Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler for the Women’s Tag Team Championship (Kick-Off)
- Sasha Banks (c) vs Carmella for the SmackDown Women’s Championship
- Roman Reigns (c) vs Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match for the Universal Championship
- Drew McIntyre (c) vs Goldberg for the WWE Championship
- The 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble Match
- The 2021 Men’s Royal Rumble Match
