To cap off #CenaMonth that has seen WWE celebrate all things John Cena, the company has now unveiled a very special John Cena Legacy Championship.
John Cena returned to WWE screens for the first time in almost a year as he celebrated the 20th anniversary of his WWE debut on Raw on the 27th of June.
That date is a special one for Cena as it was on the 27th of June 2002 that a young John Cena burst onto SmackDown in a whirlwind of ruthless aggression as he answered Kurt Angle’s open challenge.
To finish off the celebrations, WWE announced on The Bump a very special John Cena Legacy Championship belt that fans will have the chance to buy. No price was given for the title but Macho Man Randy Savage’s Legacy belt is currently on shop.wwe.com with a regular price of $849.99. The price for Cena’s could be even higher as only 500 belts are being made.
The championship is resplendent with sixteen jewels encircling the centre plate to represent each of Cena’s world championship wins. The side plates are a journey through the career of Cena from the days of Word Life and the Chain Gang to Hustle, Loyalty, Respect and U Can’t C Me. And of course, it wouldn’t be a championship fit for John Cena if the centre plate didn’t spin.
The championship belt will be available for pre-order from the end of July.
