In recent weeks a number of former WWE Superstars have returned to the company and it appears that the hits are going to keep on coming.
When Vince McMahon retired and Triple H was installed as Head of WWE Creative many fans wondered whether the change at the top would mean that some previously released stars could make returns.
As it turned out The Game didn’t leave fans waiting long for an answer with Dakota Kai coming back at SummerSlam alongside Iyo Sky who had previously been thought to be on the way out. This has been followed by the re-signing of Karrion Kross and Scarlett, while Dexter Lumis appeared on the August 8th edition of Raw.
Meanwhile it has been reported that former NXT star Top Dolla, aka, AJ Francis will be in attendance for SmackDown.
Signing with WWE in January 2020, the future Top Dolla was christened as such in May 2021 after aiding Swerve Strickland in a match vs. Leon Ruff. Alongside Strickland, Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis, and B-FAB, he was featured in the Hit Row faction, joining the main roster in October before the entire stable was released the following month.
A further report from Fightful Select has now added that they have been told that “the returns aren’t stopping soon.” It should be noted that the report didn’t reveal who these returns may involve.
There have also been reports suggesting that Naomi and Sasha Banks have reached an agreement with WWE over their own return to television, although there has been no confirmation from WWE at time of writing.
