WWE will be heading back to its spiritual home this summer as the Raw before SummerSlam will emanate from New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
WWE.com published the company’s summer events schedule which will see the company make notable stops in Texas and Florida before finishing up in Ontario, Canada towards the end of August. Tickets for all those dates go on sale on Friday, 13th of May.
SummerSlam for the first time in its thirty-plus year history will take place in the month of July with the company reconfiguring its schedule slightly to allow for their first UK based Premium Live Event since 1992 when Clash At The Castle takes place in the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on the 3rd of September.
But before The Biggest Party Of The Summer rolls into Nashville, Tennessee, WWE’s red brand will make one final stop at the Mecca of sports entertainment, Madison Square Garden. It will be the first time an episode of Monday Night Raw has taken place in The Garden since September 2019.
One WWE Superstar clearly excited about the company returning to MSG is Cody Rhodes who took to social media to celebrate the announcement.
Should Rhodes compete on the show which is likely given his standing as one of Raw’s top stars, it will mark the first time The American Nightmare has competed in the hallowed arena since WWE’s annual Boxing Day show there in 2015.
