WWE Reschedules Multiple NXT Live Events Due To Hurricane Milton

WWE has postponed multiple NXT house shows due to the impending arrival of Storm Milton.

The category 5 hurricane is set to hit the Florida area on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Travel disruption is already in place and residents have been advised to evacuate the area due to fears of the extensive damage the storm will cause.

NXT was scheduled to host 2 non-televised events in St. Petersburg and Orlando on the 11th and 12th respectively, but these have been delayed until later in the year. The St. Petersburg show will now take place on December 20th and the Orlando show will now take place on November 2nd, the same date as the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia.

What’s The Latest On The WWE NXT Roster?

The wrestlers were in St. Louis, Missouri on October 8th to present the second touring show as part of the brand’s move to the CW Network. With the Performance Center and a lot of talent based in Florida, Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that the talent is staying in St. Louis until Friday. Matt Bloom is also staying with the talent. Main roster talent who are not scheduled to be in Florida has reportedly made their way home.

The next NXT taping is scheduled to take place in Orlando on October 15th. The promotion has not made an announcement regarding the status of this show and will likely assess the impact in the area when the storm has passed.

With Hurricane Milton having arrived in the area, the former WWE ThunderDome has been devastated by the storm.

The October 8th show was another newsworthy one with the debut of Stephanie Vaquer and Oba Femi losing the North American Championship and seeing his record reign come to an end.
