WWE Reportedly “Very High” On Ethan Page

Ethan Page

A new report has claimed that WWE hold a strong interest in “All Ego” Ethan page despite him recently signing an extension with AEW.

It is no secret that WWE are keeping tabs on AEW stars Jade Cargill, Wardlow and MJF. While Cargill and Wardlow have previously attended a WWE try-out, MJF is openly attempting to spark a bidding war between the company and his current employers.

The prospect of AEW stars moving to WWE has come into sharp focus in recent weeks with reports that Cody Rhodes has agreed a deal to return to the company.

However, it appears that WWE’s interest in AEW doesn’t stop there.

Speaking on the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, Andrew Zarian revealed that the company are also incredibly high on Ethan Page. That is despite the star recently signing a new contract to extend his stay in AEW.

“By the way, Ethan Page is another dude that WWE is very high on. They like Page’s whole deal and I think he’s super hyper talented.”

“I know that [Ethan] Page has re-signed and he’s there for a while but I know for a fact that there are eyes on him for sure because he’s a guy who is a good looking guy who can cut a great promo. He has that TV look, so you gotta keep a guy like that happy, especially now that he re-signed with you. You gotta do something with him.”

Ethan Page signed with AEW in March 2021 after enjoying stints in Ring of Honor and IMPACT Wrestling. The star made his debut at Revolution on March 7th as the mystery entrant in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match.

The former IMPACT World Tag Team Champion has since become aligned with Dan Lambert and Scorpio Sky in American Top Team. Page is a regular fixture across AEW television and was last in action on the March 4th edition of Rampage where he was defeated by Christian Cage.
