A new report indicates that a former NXT star may be in for a character overhaul under Triple H’s new regime in WWE!
Changes are already becoming evident as Triple H was named head of creative in the wake of Vince McMahon’s retirement. Previously banned phrases have begun to be peppered into both Raw and SmackDown, with even Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns saying the word “hospital” on SmackDown.
Recently released Superstars have already begun to return to the company, with Dakota Kai making a shock appearance at SummerSlam alongside Bayley and IYO SKY, Karrion Kross returning on SmackDown, and Dexter Lumis being escorted out of the arena by police on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.
When asked if any other talent are set to either return or be repackaged under Triple H’s regime, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that there has been talk of repackaging former Retribution member T-BAR, who was known as Dominik Dijakovic in NXT.
“The one name that has been bouncing around with that sort of talk in recent weeks is T-Bar, the former Dijak in WWE NXT and Ring of Honor. I saw him work a few weeks ago in Madison Square Garden as part of a WWE Main Event taping and his offense looked so great, MSG began chanting for him. So, we’ll see what they do and how far they take it, but that’s the name I’ve heard most prominently recently.”
The star’s former Retribution teammate MACE has already undergone a character shift, re-debuting as maçé when he joined Max Dupri’s Maximum Male Models.
