Multiple NXT Superstars Released By WWE

Following the shocking news of William Regal’s WWE release, it has now been revealed that the WWE has come to terms with the release of four NXT Superstars including a former NXT Tag Team Champion.

WWE has come to terms with the release of former NXT Tag Team Champion Danny Burch alongside fellow NXT Superstars Timothy Thatcher, Allison Danger and Hideki Suzuki.

The news of these releases was first broken by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling.

The news came just moments after the announcement that the WWE had released several backstage officers related to the former NXT brand including, most shockingly, WWE Hall of Famer ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James and former NXT General Manager William Regal.

These releases take the total number for today up to 11 with Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer reporting that there are up to 15 expected including talent and backstage staff.

  3. Chris Guy AKA Ace Steel – WWE Coach and original trainer of CM Punk.
  4. Former manager to The Great Khali, Dave Kapoor aka Ranjin Singh.
  5. NXT creative producer Ryan Katz
  6. Legendary WWE Official Scott Armstrong
  7. Former NJPW and MLW writer George Carroll
  8. Timothy Thatcher
  9. Former NXT Tag Team Champion Danny Burch
  10. Cathy Corino AKA Allison Danger
  11. Diamond Mine recruit Hideki Suzuki.

The releases come just two months after WWE released several main roster talents including former NXT Champion Karrion Kross.
