A former WWE official thought there were some subtle changes to this week’s edition of Raw.
Triple H has now taken over WWE’s creative responsibilities following the retirement of Vince McMahon. As the new Head of Creative, Triple H controls how storylines are presented on each show.
Many thought this week’s Raw would be the first of a new era under the creative leadership of Triple H. However, it was reported that much of the episode was written before the leadership changes occurred.
One former WWE official who thought this week’s Raw did feel a bit different was Jimmy Korderas. He gave his opinion on the show via social media and said that the significant changes everyone expects wouldn’t happen for quite some time.
“There was some subtle changes. I thought the show flowed very nicely, it was very entertaining, there was a lot of good stuff going on, obviously, not perfect, but still a little different feel to it … It’s going to take some time to make some subtle changes, and I think Triple H will be the best one who can really integrate old school pro wrestling with modern day sports entertainment and combine the two in a way that will mesh well. Good luck, Triple H.”
Triple H’s new role as Head of Creative was reportedly met with “general excitement.” His first major event will be this weekend’s SummerSlam in Nashville. It has been reported that Triple H is looking to make a “creative splash” on the show.
