Unbelievable WWE Record Broken For The First Time

Chad Gable at AAA and WWE's Worlds Collide

WWE record shattered for the first time.

WWE had a jam-packed weekend last week after hosting two wrestling shows on June 7 in California. First was the collaboration event with AAA, Worlds Collide, at the Kia Forum. Meanwhile, Money in the Bank was also held at the Intuit Dome later that day. The collaboration event was highly praised by fans, and a recent announcement can back it up.

In a recent WWE press release, it was announced that Worlds Collide is now the company’s largest live audience for a YouTube broadcast. It was also noted that the show peaked at 764,389 during El Hijo Del Vikingo and Chad Gable’s match on the Stamford-based promotion’s regular and Español’s YouTube channels.

“Worlds Collide set a record for the largest live audience in company history for a YouTube broadcast. The event peaked at 764,389 live concurrent viewers across the WWE and WWE Español YouTube channels during the main event between El Hijo del Vikingo and Chad Gable.”

WWE And AAA’s Worlds Collide Event Is Also A Major Success On Social Media

As it turns out, the success of the Worlds Collide event wasn’t just contained on YouTube, but on other platforms as well.

The broadcast was watched by more than 4.1 million viewers in the first 24 hours, the event trended on X globally, and gained millions of social views in the first 24 hours.

“Additionally, Saturday’s broadcast has been watched by more than 4.1 million viewers on YouTube in the first 24 hours. On X, #WorldsCollide was the No. 1 trending topic globally on Saturday and WWE generated more than 32 million social views across all platforms in the first 24 hours.”

It will be interesting to see when both companies will join forces again.
